Jumping Spider
Taken By: Lie Dwi Janto Johan
I have always been a big fan of insect macro photography, and I have always found jumping spiders to be bizarrely fascinating if not cute (I know, I’m weird). Anyway, I always jump when I see such a crisp, detailed close up of these spiders that are normally less than an eighth of an inch long. I was drawn to this picture not only for the great detail and spot on focus and depth of field, but also for the great texture of the leaves and the hues in the picture. I also liked how home-made the set up was! It just goes to show that with a little ingenuity anything is possible. So, please, check out Dwi’s photostream and enjoy!
