In this third installment of the photography fact of the week series I go into the way that common filters work. This video lays out the groundwork of how filters can manipulate light and from there it is simple to see how those techniques are applied to photography. I know this probably isn’t the most comprehensive video, but it is difficult to try and explain the physics of light without knowing the audience I am reaching very well (as in, how much physics can I go into without boring everyone to tears/stating the obvious/being very hard to follow).
Please post questions if you have any along with requests for next week! I promise to make that one a little shorter.
